It was a promotional marketing activity held by Brazil's World Cup Department, in the city of Recife, Pernambuco, to inaugurate the new stadium in the best way: with football matches! However, all teams were made up of ordinary people.
Users just needed to log in with their Facebook account, give a team's name and invite 7 friends to assemble it. After that, just share it on Facebook to ask for votes, the top 12 teams would participate in the first tournament.
With a very short deadline, the team had only 10 days to deliver the project, struggling between two clients agreement and approval. So, the best way was to deliver and get the approval of all screens as a “sketch-frame” and, after that, deliver incrementally. Using a mix of Scrum and Kanban, the Agile methodology helps us a lot to manage all deliver in time and choose the right deliverable for each phase.
